"Normal is different now"- You must have gone through this phase in the last few months because of the difference that has occurred in the life of almost every individual due to pandemic Coronavirus that has spread pervasively with the increased speed every day.

The COVID-19 lockdown has changed people's lives for the best and for the worst at the same time and this varies from person to person based on their financial situation and various other circumstances.

How quarantine is the best opportunity?

People always run behind what they don't have and don't value what they have. From going to school, college, offices to work and study to going to malls, food-courts, parks, and gyms for enjoying and working out, all seemed to be so normal that people wanted a break from their lives and sit at home chilling. This is what they were gifted for a few months. Now, people miss getting back to their normal life but unfortunately, no one knows when we can do so.

Many people who have better living conditions are spending their time just by eating, scrolling through social media, sleeping and watching negative news on TV all the time about Covid-19 and other pessimistic things. But under some conditions, some enthusiastic people who are committed to their work are taking out the best from this time and working upon themselves.

Quarantine: Worst traits

This quarantine is not a cup of tea for all, some are digesting it as a bitter soup.

When we all are relaxing and making our lives better in this quarantine, some people are struggling for basic needs due to job recession and hampered business growth.

Some people are walking for miles to get back to their homes and some are just unable to survive with these harsh conditions and are under mental pressure.

Negative effects of quarantine on people's mind and body have highly increased in this lockdown. Rape, domestic violence and kidnapping issues are at a peak. People are unable to get over loneliness which has resulted in deteriorating mental health in people especially youngsters.

One of the best solutions to this is distraction in a positive way.

Distract your negative thoughts with regular workout schedules in mind, distract your negative intentions to hurt someone with a feeling to help them. Distract your empty mind with no valuable information with creative, and engaging thoughts. Distract your jealous thoughts towards someone by seeking motivation from them.

Can we actually do anything to change this worst scenario and get something productive out of it?

Here are some of the tasks you can do to make this quarantine more effective and to get the best out of it.

Learning new skills

Improving already existing skills

Not procrastinating and completing the work as soon as it is to be done

Giving more importance to their health

Working out from home

Doing housework and helping your mother.

Looking for opportunities which would tend to push your limits and force you to work more.

You have a lot of time to complete and do what you ever wanted to. Just one thing to keep in mind, that getting restless and pushing yourself in negative things is not a solution to any problem.

Conclusion

Lockdown is a pause for your life but doesn't pause yourself in this lockdown.

This statement simply gathers attention as it encourages you to inculcate good and effective skills, knowledge and learning in this lockdown as your life is paused for some time as you don't have to be plastic anymore to please people.

Just do the way you want and how the way you can.
