Did you have a talk with your parents today discussing your day-long activities? Did you sat with
them today and ask about their problems, instead of telling yours?

Majority of us don’t even think of doing these things daily. We are indulged in ourselves so much

that we intend to forget about those who gave this life to us. Why is there a need to keep a day
to make your parents feel better? Why not make them feel contented, jubilant, and ecstatic
every day? Now, you may ask what can we do for them? They don’t say what they want.

Yes, that’s absolutely true. Parents won’t tell what they want, they will always say, "Your
happiness and achievements are our rewards". But is it still something which can make their
day? Yes, there is.

They don’t want your money, they want your time and respect for themselves. In today’s world,

people are spending a lot to save time. But are you so busy that you cannot give time to your
parents, who have spent their whole life for you?

Let’s pen down some things which you can do for them, not today but daily.

1. Spend at least half an hour a day with them doing nothing but just laughing, talking and
making them feel good. This can be early in the morning, at tea time or before going to bed at
night. You will see the results both on yourself and on your parents.

2. Try to make them feel special by doing day-to-day work like cleaning, cooking, washing
clothes, cleaning dishes and many more to give them rest and make them happy. Because
every mother wants their child to get used to the household work.

3. Gift something useful to them from your earnings or even if you don’t earn, make a
card or something creative for them.
This will make them proud of you and will result in a
tight bonding between you and your parents.

These are only some drops of water from an ocean which you can do for your parents. Just give
them time, make them feel special, and ask about their problems and try to reduce them as well.

No love is greater than Mother’s love,

And no care is better than Father’s care.
